12 Days of Christmas Vacation

I know! This is supposed to be a Tuesdays With Dorie post! I chose not to make this week’s stained glass cookies challenge. Mostly what I feared is exactly what I have read, which is that you have a butter cookie, but then you are left to suck on the candy afterward. Meh. I almost made the Chocolate Chestnut Tart again because I just can’t stop thinking about it!

On the other hand I would like to bring everyone’s attention to the fact that, beginning tomorrow I have 12 Days of Christmas Vacation. For the Catholics among my readership I know that technically the 12 Days of Christmas don’t begin until Christmas and they end with the Feast of the Epiphany, but this is my blog, so I will make the rules, k?

Since my Big Move, posts have been scarce, but the up side is that I am no longer falling asleep on the sofa at 8:30 pm like a Senior Citizen. Most nights at least. As things are beginning to get into some kind of rhythm around here, I thought I might use this 12 Days period to ramp up back into some kind of regular posting schedule again, so stay tuned.

Tomorrow… WIP Wednesday actually ON the WIPOCALYPSE! Word.
