Wipocalypse – January 2015

Hi everyone! For those of you just joining, my name is Nicole. I joined the Wipocalypse SAL last year… Or maybe it was the end of 2013?

Anyway, Measi has encouraged us to share our projects and any stitching goals we have for the year, so –

All of my current projects are listed above 👆 and you can see all of my past Wipocalypse entries by selecting “Wipocalypse” out of the word cloud on the side bar 👉.

Most of you will notice that I really just updated last year’s list, so you can see that there is a lot that remains the same, but definitely some new pieces. For example, I started Teresa Wentzler’s “Tradewinds” in November? December? I don’t remember, and going back to work today is seriously messing with me!

So my goals are really the same as ever… Continue working on that which I have started, with a few new starts mixed in. This next weekend I will be starting the Clouds Factory Zodiac Mystery 12-month SAL. I also want to start Mira’s Queen of Freedom as well at some point. For right now though, I am really enjoying Tradewinds (though admittedly a little tired of the taupe and ecru from the sails) so that will be my focus piece, and I figure that throwing in the Zodiac SAL will be quite easy, and therefore a welcome interlude every month to change things up.

Anyway, happy stitching this year! I look forward to seeing everyone’s progress!

Great eclectic range of projects. I’ve done Pilight of Fancy and, like you, have St Hippolyte yet to do. Your Fire Fairies looks great too. I have yet to find the perfect piece of fabric to stitch mine on but in the meantime I have lots to work on. Good luck with yours. I shall be cheering you on

Thank you! I was thinking about putting Plight back onto q-snaps until I get the frame to put it on… And just sucking up the fsnap moving laziness. It has been calling my name lately. 😎
